I apologize if this is a stupid question, but is it normal to hear a "parking mode disabled" Audio announcement few seconds after starting to drive? I haven't really figured out why and whether I can turn it off. Any advice would be appreciated! It seems to happen only when the audio is on, at least from what I can tell.

 

just to check, if you enable the parking assist, do you get any type of announcement like "parking mode enabled"?

I just leave mine enabled all the time - no issues aside from when a motorcycle lane splits or I happen to get a little too close to the car in front of me.

 

Parking assist is on all the time too. No warning there is I toggle it off. This is just something with parking mode? At least that's what I heard. Maybe I should contact my dealership

 

Lol.. Turned out it wasn't the car. It was the dash cam speaker.. Well this is embarrassing..
