Springs: H&R vs Tein S Tech vs RS-R (Downs)
Hi all,
Looking to lower my 2015 IS200t. Can anyone recommend either of the above mentioned springs for this model?
I've had Tein S Tech's in the past on my 2007 Lexus IS350 and they gave an even drop front & rear with good ride comfort so I'm leaning towards Tein already.
Cheers!

I'm on RSR Down Springs! I love the drop and the stance ! Either way, you should be fine with any Spring you choose. Just do your research and see how low it actually lowers your car!

the pics above of rsr springs used dont look like a noticeable raked stance at all, actually appears very even to me, nice vehicles. i am looking for springs for my wifes is200t also and have a set of 20" staggered vossens on the way, new finish coming out

It's all a matter personal preference. It might not be as noticeable with the pic above since the car is black, but if you look at the wheel gaps there's a very noticeable difference between the front gap and the rear gap (lack thereof). To each there own.

do u have a good pic of yours that would show the difference for those debating options

This is the only pic I have but w/ aftermarket wheels. I think the main differences is that the Tein S-techs are a bit higher in the rear, and a lower in the front, compared to RSR Downs. I get about a finger gap in the rear, and 1.5 finger in the front. It's not a perfectly even drop either but that can only be achieved w/ fully adjustable suspension.
By no means am I saying that the RSR Downs drop looks bad. I just prefer the drop of the Tein S-techs.

Hi. Couple of questions
whats the drop on the Tein s tech?
Rode comfort on the RSR downs?
Basically I’m looking to get rid of the gap and maintain oem ride quality, not looking for any performance advantages per say.
Also did any of these drop springs require a camber kit to bring it back to factory specs? I understand about alignment and being just out of camber spec is not a big issue but I rather spend the money to be within spec for camber, toe is adjustable so that is good.
I am also already running 20mm hub centric spacers all the way around
