Need some opinion on Audi RS5 or Lexus RCF.
Anyone here would take the new Audi RS5 over the Lexus RCF. Audi got really beast looking on the front end and the turbo is 3.7-3.9 sec while RCF got more muscular body with V8 sound. I would take thr RCF if it has the same set up of LC500 sound a lot better.By the way Lexus is still heavy compare to the Audi. The only negative about the RS5 is the engine note is not sound good as RCF. The V6 of the RS5 is same As Porsche. One more thing I dont mind rwd but quattro awd is nice to have. Please give me some input. Thank you all.

Forgetting about all the pluses you've already mentioned, on looks alone the RS. Even though it's a V6, it spanks the RC for torque and has it available at like 1900 rpm. My hunch is the Lexus would be more reliable over the long run, and of course that's a consideration for all of us. But if you say choose one or the other right here, right now, Audi all the way....my .02

I think the majority of us would choose the RS5 over the RC-F, as of right now. That being said, these two vehicles come in at different price points with a fairly large disparity, unless youre buying something used.

And what year was that? Audi has come a long way in terms of reliability.

Not a fan of the looks of the RS5. Looks like it's trying too hard kinda like the Civic R. Just way too much tacky sht going on there.
Weird, exterior and interior styling has always been spot on on most Audis. Always been their strong point. Just not feeling this one.

Is the new RS5 even for sale yet? The new A5 and S5 just went on sale. Hadn't heard of the RS out yet.
Regardless, I'd take the Audi. It is a notch above the RCF in most areas. Appears bigger, more substantial, more mature, less boy-racer, and more practical.

i cross shopped the rs5. its was the last car iw ould buy on my list. sure, acceleration feels torquier but inconsistent. the turbos, give it the feeling. I've been in some low model turbo cars and it feels faster than the RCF at certain times during acceleration around town but the m4 was the big winner as far as feel. but rcf feels good and has the sound. rs5 needs something to look a bit newer because it looked outdated when i drove it. the rcf is so aggressive that it will look normal in 5-10 years easily
