Post New to lexus.Ls430 RF door courtesy light not working and a few other prob

Hey guys I'm new to Lexus but it looks like a new love affair has started. I just got a beautiful 04 onyx blue/tan modern lux with just 120k miles and it seems to have been maintained religiously at the dealership. For that reason i wanna continue to maintain it and keep it in perfect condition, so i need your help with a few things. 1) the pass front window switch seems to be on its way out, where can i get one without the trim and lower than dealership prices. 2) pass door courtesy light not working, checked the bulb and the open door "sensor" but still no fix. 3) maybe most importantly both front seats cushions are flat , common problem apparently. I found one inside pad for abou 100$ , what do u guys suggest? 4) lower control arm bushings are toast, i want stiffer ones , any specific place/ brand I should get them from? 5) rear sway bar options?? Thanks in advance guys

Search, young Padawan, search.... There are a few sponsors of the site that can help you with a new switch, or look on eBay for a reputable seller.

A few guys have gone to upholstery shops and had the cushions redone, so perhaps there's a local guy in your area that can tackle that.

FIGS is one manufacturer of LCA bushings for the LS. They're a little pricier than the stock bushings, but very high quality stuff.

You can install the Sport Model rear stabilizer bar, which is not very expensive and it is said to do wonders for the rear end of the car.

I would definitely search, as you'll probably find loads of information on all these subjects

Oh and welcome to the club Lexustitus!

I just read your other post in the build threads section. You stated that the window switch allows the window to go down but not back up. It could be that the contacts are dirty inside the switch from non-use. My 2005 is like that. You could pull the switch out of the door handle and clean it with a can of electrical contact cleaner. You may get lucky and not have to open the housing up...
