Hey guys,

I just had my mirror replaced with the newer one because of the TSB with '08 IS-F mirrors. This thing rattles like crazy, so if you think you can fix it make me an offer.

This is a project part, you will need to do something to fix it unless you can deal with the mirror acting like you have a sub bumping. If you need to scavenge the internals for electronics it'd be great for that too. My homelink garage door opener, compass, auto dim, etc. worked flawlessly so the internals are fine.

what TSB? i don't think mine rattles or it could've been replace by previous owners.

If PO mentioned it while under warranty it would've been fixed free of charge. If your mirror looks like this one, it's the old one (garage buttons on the bottom) if the garage buttons are on the front facing you it's the new version. I made HUGE deal about it at the dealer and calling corporate, managed to get 25% off parts and free labor. Worth it, but a pain in the ***. Should've been a recall IMO.

A TSB is only free under warranty, so no I had to pay for it.
