Ls 2021 how can I open the boot with a completely dead battery
Hi, my car alarm was going off at 1am I couldn't get it to go off. My neighbours were not happy at all!
One of them suggested disabling the battery and sorting it out in the morning.
Well now.......how the hell do I open the boot to get back to the battery 🪫 😭
There doesn't seem to be a key, and Google tells me you can't get to the boot from the rear seats.

Mechanical Key
The trunk can be opened using the mechanical key that is in the key fob.
Connect jumper cables to the dedicated jump-start terminals inside the engine bay fuse box. This restores 12V electronics immediately, allowing you to use the standard trunk button.
The hood release is manual, no battery power needed to open the hood.
You know, if someone with zero mechanical ability ( like my wife) uses this car, it would be a good idea to instruct them as to what to do if the battery is dead. I can just see some yahoo trying to jimmy open a door.
