Hi all, I just moved on from my much beloved 2011 LS 600h L and moved newer 9 years and 199,000 miles. So, this beauty was referred to me by a long time friend that is a sales associate at my local Lexus dealer. Timing is everything as I put in the deposit before the photos hit the website. I went into this knowing that it would be wired CarPlay with a pretty useless QI charger (I mean, why use the charger if you have to be plugged in for CarPlay to work!?). That item aside, the car is pretty amazing. I even had to remove a few manufacturer stickers that whoever owned it first never took down.
If you have any tips or items learned from this vintage of ES300, would love to here them... cheers!
cool you got the 2020. i think that's the first year of the "good" battery (if i'm not mistaken) i forgot a lot of ES trivia since i sold mine 3 years ago. LOL

I replaced the battery in my LS a couple years ago and that was a very expensive venture.
You will love the fuel economy with the current gas prices. I've averaged between 45 - 49 mpg for the 21 months I've owned my 2024 ES Luxury. I don't have a lead foot, but the car can "get going" when in Sport mode.

The 2020 ES 300h still has the Nickel Metal Hydride traction battery, the Lithium-Ion type was not fitted until the 2021 model year. Apparently Canadian market ES still have NMH because they are better in extreme cold weather.

With the extended battery warranty for 4 yr -120k and other car warranty (?) is it warrantied thru Lexus as a VSA vehicle service agreement or other non Lexus company ?

The original Lexus battery warranty is 10 years, 150,000 miles. There are 4 years and 120,000 miles left.
