Default brake pad light

Hi ,My low brake pad warning came on the other day ,Can u tell me are there two or one to replace, Talking about the sensor, And are aftermarket sensors ok to use .I got quotes of 400.00 to 700.00 for front pads

check amazon and ebay. the brake pad wear sensors are around $20.00
if you are mechanically handy and could remove the tire off the car, you should be able to replace the sensor easily!

there are only 2 brake pad wear sensors on the car. not 4!

There's a lot of misinformation in these forums. There are four (4) disc brake wear sensors on the 4th gen LS 460's.

Bro, you actually need to replace the pads as well or else you'll just instantly break the new wear sensor. Just to be clear your car is letting you know you have to do a brake job...
