Default 2014 ls base with Navi and ml

Wondering if I can replace my 2014 ml speakers with whole new set. Found set on e bay. But says for 07-17. Is this true. Set came out of a 2008 I believe. Will they work in my 2014 ls 460. Have ml in it now but few of the speakers are not working

Found these on eBay but say fits 07-17

Why or how do you know that "Have ml in it now but few of the speakers are not working"... I've not heard of someone with the 2013+ having to replace the speakers... the rubber surrounds aren't that old to degrade. Unless the previous owner blasted drum+bass 24/7 you could have an amp issue instead... some members do report having amp issues. People recommend sending it to United Radios in NY (or something like this). Did you physically take the door panels off to inspect the condition of your existing speakers?

I know they re-tuned the AMPs from the 07-09 to the 10-12 MY to remove Bass and make it more neutral sounding. Then the 13+ MY's have a completely different AMP because of the new infotainment system (interface runs thru the amp). As far as the speakers are concerned I do think the rear deck sub changed from the 07-12 to the 13+ MY's. I can't speak to the doors or surrounds. You can cross reference other Ebay listings for individual speakers to check. I'd be surprised if the 07-12 speakers are the exact same in the 13+. They changed the entire interior for the 13+ cars...

I don’t think they are bad or blown. Just the whole rear deck where the sub is there is no sound coming from them. Or the rear door lower speakers. Idk where to start to figure out what’s wrong. I get sound from the front door and dash speakers. And from the tweeters in the rear doors. No mid range in rear doors and back deck. Any ideas

Take the inner trunk covers off and remove the amp and it's cover, look for anything weird on the board or take one of the rear doors off and try a known good speaker (jumper wire it to the connector... BUT the rear doors are harder to take off than the fronts, if you don't feel comfortable doing that then don't. It's most likely the amp, speakers don't usually fail in groups.

If you haven't already checked you need to go into the Sound settings per source (radio) (CD) (AUX) and see what the centerpoint is. Each source can have it's own centerpoint and EQ set. So if the pervious owner only listened to podcasts via (Aux) then maybe they set the centerpoint to just the front speakers. ?

But yeah, sounds like an Amp issue and not a speaker issue.

I just don’t know what to do. I replaced the 30 amp fuse. Wasn’t that. I don’t want to send the amp off to get repaired for 500 bucks if I don’t need to. Could it be the wires to the rear deck or something cause I have no sound from the sub and rear speakers.front works great and the small speakers on rear doors work but no low end sound on rear. No sound at all. Think an audio shop could figure out the problem. I’m way down in Brownsville Tx so my audio shops are limited to two one being Best Buy which I don’t want to go to. Other seems to be ok. Just don’t know if they work with stock ml systems often

Take it over to North Park Lexus and talk to the stereo guy there first.
