Is vapor lock a thing with es300s ?
Greetings,
Well I posted a couple of days ago but I don't see it yet, I really don't know why. Anyway; the short version is the question; do es300s suffer vapor lock? Mine is a 1997 with 134k miles and it seems to have. But the temp was only about 95*.
Thanks

Hello,
No, it is not, whatever happened there likely wasn't the result of vapor lock, unless you have a problem in the fuel system.
Hope this helps and best of luck!

Thanks for the tip Arsenii, that's what I've been assuming. After burning a tank-and-a-half of fuel with added injector cleaner the symptoms had more or less vanished except for a slight hesitation from a stop which I could mitigate by going easy on the throttle. But yesterday driving around town now I'm not so sure. Does this maybe sound like dirty injectors?
I have a devise called FIXD that I will plug in next because the CHECK ENGINE light is on then off then on. That's the next angle.
