Post Where does this belong

I went to the DIY thread and under MANUALS found "none available", but I did some looking past the first few entries on Google and at this site, https://en.lexusclub.cz, found two different shop manual pdf files that were apparently Lexus originated. One was 2372 pages long and the other was 1111 pages long I think the one that best fits our gen2 GS's is the shorter one. You have to join the Czech club to download, but they're free. I was able to find caster, camber and toe-in specs along with detailed steps on front suspension work. The longer one seemed to cover a GS300 with an old fashioned distributor.

We don't have direct links to copies of the FSM here because that would be piracy.

There are a lot of excerpts posted as answers to questions though. The suspension diagrams have definitely been posted in response to several posts.

Exactly, that's why I didn't attach a copy of the pdf file I downloaded from the Czech LEXUS Club. Is it illegal to let people know where they can get one?

What is it you’re trying to do? You just want to know what the factory recommends the alignment should be set at? Are you trying to align it without an alignment rack? Or? Any alignment rack I have ever used had the factory settings for all cars preset and I just had to fill out the year, make, and model and then it would compare the actual angles to the recommended specs and then I just adjust them to match the correct specs.
and any time I have done a driveway alignment, I just used a tape measure and a level to set things as straight as possible until I could get it to an alignment rack. So I have never really needed the recommended specs?

The essence of what I wanted from a factory service manual was "detailed steps on front suspension work".

Yes, you can download an Owner's Manual there, but I didn't see any offering of a Shop Manual.
