How rare?
I have a 1994 SC300 slick top original color is Diamond Pearl White (made it orange now) with tan leather and everything automatic (transmission and interior) I am wondering if its rare at all or just a normal sc300. If you wanna see it you can find it on instagram at tictacthesc.
This is my first post so if it is done wrong let me know.

Yes, any slicktop SC is pretty rare. Slicktops were available for the entire model run on both SC300's and SC400's but eventually were special order only for those few who really wanted no sunroof and got their request in at the right time during the production cycle. A customer special ordering a Lexus with specific options was possible when the 1st gen SC was being sold but company wide that went away by 2006 or so.
Even rarer would be any slicktop SC that came with a factory cloth interior and also a manual adjust (non-motorized) steering column.
In contrast the Japan market 1991-2000 Soarers were predominantly spec'd in slicktop, manual adjust steering column and cloth interiors. Since in Japan customers generally order their car the way they want and wait to have it built and delivered that is just how most people who bought most of the Soarers had them manufactured. In the U.S. and Canada it was totally different.
Factory manual SC's, 1998-2000 SC400's and the 120 ever made 1997 SC300 5-speeds are also rare as are super low production colors like Royal Sapphire Pearl (and a few others) but you do have a rare option on your SC in the slicktop spec which is very, very uncommon to find.

got it in Colorado from a car collector, he was the second owner so I have no idea where the origin of the car is.
