NICE! this would be a good alternative to the $30 arms that i posted earlier. Do we know how to replace the joints though? It was my understanding that it wasnt possible to replace because of they way they are made not because parts werent available but i could have misunderstood.
Another interesting item that is linked on that page, if I understand correctly, is the extended arm control arm set for 35,800 yen. Do I read that correctly? If so, could be an even better deal.
The google translation is pretty good, I understood almost all of what was on the page. Cool feature of Chrome.
This is a good alternative for someone with a shop to rebuild a lot of old front lca's. You have to have the right equipment to do it though. Much better chance of good steel as most jap steel is of good quality unlike chinese steel which lacks control standards. DIY is easy to understand also. One more fix for our control arm problem. The extended arms won't work for stock replacement as they are for lowering and camber style. I have located quality aftermarket jap made LCA's and they are being sold on ebay by at least one seller out of Florida. I want to try to make connection with the US affiliate of this company to see what cost and quantity requirement s are, to see if they can be aquired at a lesser cost to what ebay seller is listing them for, which is just under 200 each for a set.I'm sure he is marking them up, I just don't know by how much.
Seems like we got some good options popping up for our LCAs, Ramblerman could you provide a link to the florida seller? If hes near where i live in FL maybe i can meet with the guy.

Vteruni: hopefully this doesn't get me in trouble with mods? Seems this is a known to CL parts dealer who from what I have read made some of our members happy. Toyolex parts connection in Clermont Fl. Has a ebay store also. The Lca's I have refered to are NAS/Sankie aftermarket parts. Franco was the name mentioned in CL post I found of who they were dealing with from 2013. Wonder if they were ever a CL vendor?
Ahh, so the top and bottom collars both have to be welded in...and the control arm ground flat. Not exactly an easy thing to do for the average DIYer. Not to mention getting the old one out. This would have to be done by a shop for most people, so add in shop labor cost and you're back to a somewhat costly replacement.
However, this, along with the recent and less costly replacement control arms becoming available is a good thing for us.
