For $15,000
2008 Lexus GS 460 fully loaded
56k miles
Smokey Granite Mica w/ black interior
Car is immaculate
ONLY gripe is that it is not black or white. Color was of top importance but I could always wrap it... low miles, local guy, meticulous owners and a rare car. What do you all think!? Worth it?
I would get it! GS460 is such a rare car! Good Luck getting it! The color is my favorite. I would rather have the Smoky Granite Mica, rather than my Mercury Metallic.
I threw some numbers into Edmunds and came up with this. $15K is what dealers would buy it for on a trade. They would turn around and sell it for $3K more. I say go for, but keep in mind you can get these models albeit with higher miles for a couple thousand less depending on your area.
Edit: entered the wrong exterior color. It may change the numbers by a few dollars

If the car is clean and clean title with no accidents then 15,000 is a steal. Jump on it! Because I ran mmr (recent auction sales average) search on it and 15,250 is what they sell for at auctions + auction fees
Also get the vin and run it on Lexus Drivers website to check maintenance history. That was the determining factor when I pulled the trigger on mine, Make sure the valve spring recall is done and regular maintenance has been kept up especially on a car with that little miles.

+1 on the running the vin on the Lexus website. I would jump on this if everything checks out. A coworker at work was lucky and got a GS460 for the same price I paid for my '06 GS300. I was kicking myself in the butt for not waiting a month later....

thanks regular maintenance but he did disclose a minor accident. It was very early on since 2009 and was repaired at Lexus and has been serviced regularly since. Does this seem major?
It sounds like the wheels had curb rashes and replaced by the wheel and tire protection plan or they paid out of pocket.
I'm not sure about the fuse box though. It could have been in a small fender bender accident. What does carfax show? Have you seen the vehicle yet? Any weird look welds?
