Default moonroof fuse

Is there a fuse that just disables the moonroof, else I remove the buttons?

it's broken, could be the motor. Oh, another idea, remove the plug to the motor right?!

Not sure if this is your problem but something you can try. Sometimes my sunroof would open and not close...or remain stuck open! The internal switch stopped working.

What I did to make sure it wasn't the motor was to open the sunroof and all the windows. Step outside the car and with the key in the door turn to unlock...if the sunroof closes it's probably not the motor. For me, it was the switch. I purchased a used one off eBay and I think it was 4 screws to take it out. I actually didn't replace the entire panel just the circuit board for the sunroof switch. All is well now.

have tried that and even outside with the key the moonroof was not opening (was stuck barely closed so that's the only thing I could have tested).

So I've ordered a motor, but would be quite grateful if you can post more details on the switch ordering and how it was replaced please.

Thanks.

Oh ok, so it's probably your motor. Here is a pic of the switch I think it was $25-30 on eBay. There are two screws behind the Light panel and two screws behind the Home Link panel...just a small screwdriver will pop them off. From there it's just one or two plugs and the entire panel will drop down.

oh I've taken both these down already to access the motor. You replaced this whole piece?

oddly the motor works when I remove it from the track but maybe it has weakened and can no longer push the track

In my case the motor was fine, but I replaced the circuit board on the other side where the Tilt switch is. But yes, it could be that your motor was going bad.

put in a new used motor and it still doesn't work. Must be the tracks are stuck.

I have ave a small leak but it seems the water travels on the roofline and then exits in the rear. Maybe this is fine OR I'll silicon it shut?
