Default Question about Moonroof

My monroof stop working last night on my ES300 and I was wondering what could be the problem. The switch does not work at all neither opening or tilting the moonroof. It's just dead. Could it be just a bad switch or fuse? Thanks for any help.

check the fuse, then check the switch, then check the motor. obviously if its one of the first two then dont bother to check the others

i have the same problem from time to time. when u push the button, do u hear a relay 'click' near the button? if so the motor is going, if u really wanna risk it and open up the sun roof, u can take down the center glassesholder/map light by removing the 3 screws holding it up there (two visible when u open the glasses holder and the other visible after gently removing (prying) the map light lens with a flathead. After you take that out, u can see the motor for the moon/sun roof, take a metal object and tap on it, or bang, but not too hard because if u punch it as hard as possible like me, you'll put 2 little outgoing dents in ur roof....(stupid move but it was raining and i had to close it)

g-luck im probably going to replace the motor for mine soon and possibly make a DIY.
