I have a 2008 Lexus RX350 2WD and am having some issues with my daytime running lights.
My driver's side high beam (9005) doesn't work for DRLs (passenger's side works just fine). At first, I thought it might have been the bulb itself, so I changed the driver's high-beam headlight out for a brand new Philips 9005 headlight but the issue still persists.
Perplexed, I decided to check the fuse box for the DRL Fuse (7.5a) and pulled it. The fuse works fine, and surprisingly, the passenger side DRL still turns on when I start the car.
I've done some searching on the Internets, but haven't found anyone else with a similar issue with this generation RX. Have you guys seen anything like this before? I suspect it could be a faulty wiring harness issue as well, but not too sure.
Not sure the issue you have but a set of Mini VCI Adaptor for Toyota Lexus TIS Techstream under $20 on ebay is a must have tool for problem diagnostic.
