Congratulations. 
You're probably aware of this, but it's a tradition for hand-assembled AMG power-plants to be signed off by the Technician-in-Charge. That puts his (or her) official stamp of approval on it.
I'm waiting for a new car myself ....but, no, it's not in the same class as a Mercedes AMG.

A beautiful car, but the nose looks like an old Jag, and the rear was taken from a Porsche..
Looks mismatched, and a little derivative to me...
I'm sure it drives like a dream, but not where I would have written my check off to.
Lots of other options in that price range I would look at first.
