Default F-Sport rear sway bar for MY 2010?

I know that the F-Sport rear sway bar is a popular mod for earlier F's but would it be handy for a MY 2010?

Also, what improvements have you noticed if you have this addition? Thanks,

yes it would...if u plan on stayin with your stock wheels this bar is just for u. its thicker then the stock one and u can feel the difference when taking turns and even driving. the car feels more neutral and balance.

I just installed one earlier today on my 2012 and could feel a difference in the very first turn. Much more stable on the backroads here in KY

Nice to know these work well with 2012's, where did you get yours from?

Silver88- you asked about rear sway for "F-sport". To clarify, you mean the nicely logo'd F-Sport or are you speaking of a true IS-F?

I bought mine straight from the dealership since I get a discount on parts. I went with Part No. PTR02-53080 (IS250 AWD rear bar only), per lowrideraz's post in a few other threads. My F is only 2 weeks old, so installation was very easy. It took about 30 mins with a lift.

Thanks, I'll surely be adding this next time I take the car to the dealer for the regular oil change.

Did you replace the front as well?

From what Ive read on other threads, people have mentioned that the F-Sport Front Sway Bar and the Stock IS-F Sway Bar are the same diameter and wouldnt make a difference in performance/ functionality if changed from the Stock IS-F to F-Sport...

But good to know if he changed it out though???

Didn't change the front out for the reason that 1SexyLexus mentioned (same diameter)

What is the diameter of the stock ISF REAR sway bar vs the F-sport Rear sway bar?

maybe its me but I dont see Lexus making any F-sport part that will out perform any part on the True F cars. F-Sport parts on your ISF --I seriously doubt any real difference is made other than in your mind.
Numbers dont lie and without them - Im sorry-- change is all mental

well it is proven that the f sport sway bar is about 2mm thicker then the stock isf sway so it will make a difference..

I complied this chart about three years ago when I put on my F-Sport rear bar. I used Lexus parts information and actually crawled under a number of ISs to be sure that the chart is accurate. You can see by the chart that the F-Sport rear bar is bigger by 2mm as indicated above and the front bar is the same OD as the stock ISF bar.

As far as it working, You can doubt all you want, but it did make a difference I could feel. Your right numbers don't lie, and the chart proves that. And as far as the change being "all mental", you're the only one here who has expressed that opinion, and you have no experience to back up that statement
