I was wondering about this.

I never ever see the SC300 or SC400 from 1998-2001 model years. I didn't even know Lexus made the SC up till 2001. I thought there was a gap between the first gen SC and second gen.

Anyone have any thoughts on what is the rarest Lexus on the road?

 

1. White/black gs400
2. 1997 RSP/BLK manual sc300
3. 2000 blk/blk sc400

What makes these cars rare is year, but mostly color combo...another one would be a 1997 gs300 or manual 92-93 es300

 

Without a doubt,, first gen ES 250. Not many were sold to begin with since the LS 400 was the top dog in the lineup, and Lexus only started with 2 models. Hardly EVER run across one still on the road today although they may still be around.

 

Well lets see... Rarest lexus in regards to a lexus model as opposed to a particular combination of a features in a model could be the following:
- ES250
- LX450
- IS300 SPORTCROSS

As far as a particular combination of a certain model could be the folllowing:
- 01 LS430 with the dark red interior... in custom luxury or ultra luxury trim levels.
- 97 SC300 5spd
- 95-96 GS300 Touring edition

 

I often think about the first gen GS, but rarely ever see them. Actually I see a lot of the early SC's here in L.A.

 

I think Pebble Beach edition Lexus's in general are hard to come by. I may be wrong though, I just never see them. Here about them but that's about it lol

1GS rare? I see one every time i walk outside!

No but i think the IS300 wagons are pretty rare. I see alot more 1gs cars out there then IS300 wagons. i think ive only seen 2 on the street so far. well thats over here at least. Well same goes for the ES250. ive only seen 2 on the street as well.

 

The old IS sport cross seems to be the Lexus unicorn. I see them so rarely

LFA isn't on the road today.

There r only a few RSP manual SC 300s I think 40 tops.
Only about 50 passionate black GSs
only about 130 or so 07 gs 430s and proabalu rare to have one with active suspension
manual es 300 is rare
I would say later sc 430s in certain color combos r rare
fully equipped gs and is l-tuned is rare

IF I remember correctly there was a very rare Red Pearl RX300 that I don't see too many of on the road.

 

In UAE, the rarest is the SC430.

 

LFA for sure...
