First Lextech GB in 3 years!!! FREE needles!!
To celebrate what is going to be an awesome 2009 year for Lextech, I'm pleased to announce the first Group Buy in over 3 years. A little birdie told me that people have been begging for years for the free needles GB that last surfaced in 2005. Well I'm back at the helm and we're going to do it!
For those unfamiliar with the free needles GB, here's the deal. Purchase any "32" backlight from our store as seen here: http://lextech.org/osCommerce/index....2226be3a6474f6
Get FREE needles with your order, any color!

- Simply make your purchase of any "32" backlight, write your color preference of needles and "Club Lexus GB" in the notes box, then print out your invoice with your order - stick it in the box with your cluster and send it over to us.
We are going to bring in extra tech help to make sure our in shop time is only 3 business days for the custom build, so we get your unit out the door ASAP and back to you. Normal in shop time is 5 business days.

WHO can take advantage of this GB?
- Any SC can have any color backlight. Any 92-96 Lexus SC model can have any color we offer for needles and backlight. 95-96 SC's will only have the option of red needles however due to the red face of your needles. (you 95-96 guys can also find a set of 92-94 needles and we'll make them work on your cluster in any color)
- Any ES300 from 92-96. Any color backlight, but only red or yellow needles for your choice. This is due to your brown tinted needle face.
- Any GS from 92-96 can have any color backlight and RED needles as your needle face is also red like the mid year SC.
- Nothing 97+
WHAT is the wty?
- As always and forever LLS covers their products for LIFE. This policy has been in place to all CL members for 6 years.
WHEN will this be over? (EXTENDED, SEE POST 58)
- We plan to run this GB from December 1st through December 14th 2008. It is highly recommend you get your unit in early as possible incase we get so backed up with orders we overflow back to a 5 business day in shop time. We are going to do our very best to avoid that.
WHERE do I ship my cluster? That is covered in checkout in the store along with payment options.

Only the years listed above.
Ps- Since I was asked about this in PM..... Yes, as always you can drive without the cluster. Might wanna keep your gas topped off. Turn signal will still work and everything. The only time they wouldn't is if you remove your climate unit for lighting work, because the hazard switch must be connected to complete the flasher circuit. You might actually plug the flasher back in and it complete enough of the circuit to make the turns work. Not relevant to this GB though. Just mentioning it.

No love for the 2G anything. 
I promise to eventually expand the line, but since it is a completely different technology in the newer cars I need the time to design a system, R&D it, and I also need a test car. I've been fortunate in the 1G stuff to have always had a vehicle personally owned, or access to one so I can develop in the free time. The biggest hurdle has always been we are an LED company and the newer 2G cars were Cathode. Lexus found out how bad an idea that was pretty quick and made the 3G led's.

So what are my options for these two clusters - first on my car now is a '95 - I would do the 32 and I would receive the red needle make-over for free?
I also have a '99 cluster - again the 32 option - what about the needles?

Forgot to suggest something, and it is available in ALL clusters serviced in this GB. Just add it on in the store if you decide you'd like it. It's the biggest difference $20 can make on a cluster with custom backlight.
