Anyone out there modify their RX to make use of any of these blank spots for switches? Looks so tempting to pop one of these out and install some lights or extras. If so, does anyone know of switches that will fit?
Got my Rx 450h. It looks like these switches that come in a pack of 4 are all grouped together in one block. And the switches that are unlabled are non functional, they are fixed plastic blocks and dont press down. It doesn't looks like 4 separate sub assemblies , rather one large assembly.
The only way I see this working is ordering a switch with 4 functioning buttons, and relabeling the existing buttons and building your own wiring harness
I hear you. Blank spots on that panel look like something is missing. I can't think of a good use and don't relish the idea of digging into the dash for some rarely used modification (been there; done that). So I think I'll just ignore it.

Yeah...I was looking at the individual switches and they are kinda pricey unless you have a useful particular function that you want to add....like a light bar on a truck.
Looks like this is the Part number if anyone is interested.75H350 .
From the looks of the swtiches, its a very simple 4 pins per switch. One of them has got to be hot, and the other ground, but I don't know what the other two would be.
Looks like this one with all 4 switches active just has the 4 extra pins on the back populated. Now if only someone can find the wiring harness that plugs into these, and the wiring diagram, and see how it populates into the connector that would be awesome.
