One thing I like about the IS is sitting low.
Since I have long legs, I also need to set the seat low.
But making right turns, I have curb phobia and I need to
prop myself up to get a good look.
I was scratching my head at his "nice little touches" trunk handle thread, but enough is enough. This poster's threads have been flooding the board and have been ...interesting, to say the least.
Okay, I just got the car, I am just about out of
posts for a while :-). Simple point, in the reviews I have read
there has been the mention of low to the ground seating.
You sacrifice some vision the deeper you sit.

ok... and what's your point?
coming in here as a new member and flooding the forum with useless threads and comments isn't going to get you anywhere, much less any respect (as you can see from above) from members who provide valuable information and feedback to others.
I just meant there is a trade off in seating height and visibility.
Lower seat position, less visibility.
The IS is already tight seating for a tall person.
I find I need to lower the seat to prevent my legs from hitting the steering wheel
I already have the steering wheel all the way up.
Anyway, sorry for over-posting. I will be clearer next time as well.

Once you have all your thoughts together, say, after owning the car for a few months, maybe you could post an in-depth review thread and ask for discussion that way. When I first got the car I had LOTS of stuff to say as well, though I didn't really make separate threads about everything.
