Default Overfenders

I will be purchasing overfenders for the ls to give it a rocketbunny kinda look I feel it would look great with the spoiler I have on there currently these are the fender I will be putting on

They are 70mm overfenders I am trying to figure out the wheel spacer and rim situation if anyone has insight with that please chime in, these are the rims I plan I purchasing.

TSW sochi's 20x9 in the front 20x10.5 in the rear.
Anyone that has insight I to getting the wheel fitment correct to the overfenders please share your knowledge it would be greatly appreciated.

So why should i not be driving a ls because i dont follow the normal mold that all ls drivers follow?.....It's a 13 year old Lexus....so it ok for people to put tray tables, neck pillows, curtains and champagne holders in the car with stupid amounts of camber but since i am putting chassis braces, wider wheels, over fenders and go fast mods that's actually do something useful it's not ok?

I am gonna be straight up I could really care less about other people's opinions. I am building my car with my wife and having the time of my life doing it as well as meeting awsome people along the way, which is what the car community should be a out not downtalking another persons ride because you don't like there mods but admiring the hard work, time, and thought that went into it.

I get so much hate on this forum it's unreal most ls owners don't even work on there own cars, and fast and the furious pimp show really? Is that what you would call the liberty walk Murcielago?

Also yah bro this is my 3rd ls430 and the 2nd one I have modified, I never joined the forum due to all the negativity I see directed towards people that modify there ls.

This forum like most forums on the net works best for everyone when we don't take differing points of view personally.

I understand that and it is a valid point I just get ripped to shreds anytime I post about anything on the ls forum, and it bothers me because it just shows how closed minded people are here. I posted about the supercharger on the sc430 forum and I received constructive comments and I felt that it was more open and friendly to my car and than the ls forum is.

With the supercharger post you even posted how it's not your cup of tea but thought it would make a great sleeper and that is awsome man I wish everyone would have your attitude.

No, that's not OK either !!!!!
But honestly if you enjoy building it, looking at it and driving it then it's a great idea and you SHOULD do it !!!! You will end up with a unique LS and I have no problem with it.
When I said "you are turning a classy ride into a Fast and Furious pimp show" I was just being a bit of a ****, and being honest ... but I am 62 years old and this is just not my thing, at all. I should have not said anything at all .... but I did and I am a bit sorry for being a bit harsh.
You have as much right as anyone to be here and we can agree to disagree what a 13 year old LS is "supposed" to be
I hope the others here are more supportive of your vision and can even help you achieve it, but I think you are planning to take your LS where no LS has been before, and for that I honestly do wish you all the best.

I am 26 so I understand why you have the opinion that you do and I respect it I don't have to agree with it but I do have to respect it, I appreciate your apology and the fact that we can have a disagreement without throwing personal attacks at eachother.

I understand were you are coming from about ruining a classy car part of me agrees with you on that, the ls430 is a beautiful car inside and out. Sometimes I wish I didn't modify but that quickly changes when I see the "masterpiece" I have created. I don't follow what's cool or what's trendy I honestly do what I want to do and if people thinks it's cool that's awsome if they don't like it they are entitled to there opinion.

Nice to see these types of posts.
It is a good thing to have different points of view on any forum. Clearly as the LS430 ages (and hopefully maybe even becomes a "classic" of sorts) we need to be inclusive of anybody that recognizes this is an amazing and very cool car - to keep bone stock, make a few stealthy mods, or to mod as their heart, creativity, and wallet dictates.

I tend to be in agreement with Jabber here. Please keep sharing your ideas, as even though they may not be the first choice of many members, the pics and posts on doing the mods will be valuable to owners who are looking for info on these mods.

Keep 'em coming..

Anyone can post anything they want of this forum. But not everyone will necessarily agree or find posting relavant to them. Most probably just ignore the posts they find to be of no interest to them. Don't be offended if people don't rally around any particular posting. I see that popular posting are those where people are able to assist others in problem solving, not social media. Just my observance.
