Hello!
My name is Fer (short for Ferdinand I guess), I'm 29 and I come from the Netherlands. I just bought my second Lexus.

2006 IS250 Automatic
2. RWD or AWD
RWD, no AWD option available in Europe
3. Exterior Color
1G0 Dark grey mica (Smokey Granite in the US)
4. 17s or 18s (and what kind)
Aftermarket 18's, will be used for winter tires. Some 19's will come for the summer
5. Spoiler or no spoiler
No spoiler yet. Would like an OEM 250 Sport spoiler
6. Interior color
Light sand cloth
7. Anything you want to mention (options, others considered, previous Lexus owner, etc)
Previously owned an Alfa Romeo 156 Sportwagon. Although the Alfa was a very nice, and above all pretty, car I went back to a Lexus.
Before the Alfa I owned an IS200 (EU spec 2.0L straight-6 manual 1st gen IS) a couple of years ago. Sadly never really did anything exciting to it (like lowering). Was a very nice car to drive however.
8. PICS, PICS, PICS!!!

Have owned the car for about 6 months. Always been a car guy, but haven't really had a great platform to work with; '87 BMW 325i conv auto and '02 Volvo S60 auto fwd. So far I've added (all work done in my garage myself): Wald-style front lip, EBC slotted rotors with Greenstuff pads, H&R sport cup lowering springs, Megan Racing front strut bar, custom short ram intake, yellow fogs, rear roof spoiler, painted black roof w/ custom painted front grill and emblems, lightly tinted tails, resonator delete w/ Magnaflow mufflers (had been running res and muff delete w/ straight pipes, but the drone just about killed me and the neighbors hated me...). Soon to come: wald-style trunk spoiler, rear bumper diffuser, revised short ram air intake (new intake tube and cone filter on the way).
On another note, I am currently looking for a new rim setup, but am considering painting my stock 17's white for the time being... opinions?

7. Bought used in December 2013 with ~21K miles. It runs like a dream! Only thing I've had any problem with is that recently I've gotten condensation in the driver-side headlight assembly. I took it to the dealership and they figured out it had about a bottle's worth of water in the bottom. When they dried it out, the LED strip died, probably because all the water was keeping the connection closed. They quoted me $1700 for a replacement headlamp assembly, so I drove around without a functioning LED strip for awhile until my daughter and I replaced the assembly with an aftermarket for ~$400. I just found out that, of course, I bought the wrong part. The one I ordered has halogen and I need a HID bulb. Is there an aftermarket headlamp assembly from a reputable dealer? I'm currently looking at CARiD, here's the link: https://www.carid.com/2011-lexus-ct-...or-headlights/
Please advise!
