It is Black, like my soul. HAHAH JK with Black interior. All Black Everything.
Just had 25 hours of detailing done to it. Clay wax, buffing, a little color sanding and also AMMO Skin applied to it. The paint is so sleek and slick now.
I am really enjoying it and hope to upgrade it in a few years, but I am loving this car so far.
It does have the clear bra on the front and back bumpers
I look forward to meeting and particpating in this forum!

She is very nice!!!

haha oh well, it is still a LEXUS. I really want a GS350 F sport.. that is what I went to buy and went home with this one instead lol. I didn't want to spend the larger amount, so I will upgrade down the road. I really love this car though!!!!

Hi

My name is Wendy-Anne, My husband and I recently bought a second hand Lexus. We are fixing it up for ourselves to use. It is an IS 250 2008 model. We are from South Africa, Parys. We do fix cars for a living, but it seems that our car is the one car we cannot find the problem with. While my husband, Gerhardt has his head in the bonnet of the car, I am looking on the internet for the solution - it's awesome to know that there's a club! Just for the Lexus owners!

Our Lexus is silver in colour, with black leather seats. We got it from one of our clients - as payment for another job we did for him on his Land Rover. The car looks great on the outside, but it didn't want to start. We are trying to fix it as we go along (times are tough in South Africa at the moment - as I am sure you know). How I wish we could move to America (and wished for a long, long time)!

I have put my request in at the bottom for what I think we need in order to fix the car and get it at least to start... If you can assist, that would be awesome!!

Thank you so much!!

What’s wrong with the car? Any codes so far? I’m also in South Africa and have the same car.

We need the injector driver pin out. Or the wiring diagram for the injector driver. That's where the problem lies.

Jeeves, my 2011 IS 250 6M, RWD:
Smokey Granite Mica over black cloth
17x8" 10-spoke alloys
No decklid spoiler
Options include: trunk mat, cargo net (pouch) in the trunk, and nothing else. Jeeves is as basic as they come, but I'm tall, so I don't miss the sunroof encroaching on my headroom, and I don't like leather. If I had ordered him from new, I don't think I would have done it any differently!

He's called Jeeves because he does so many things for me, such as fully automatic windows, automatic headlights, automatic climate control... my last car was a dead-basic, no-options Matrix. This is streets ahead of that car, equipment-wise.

I've installed a set of Weathertech mats, which I had to modify by making a cutout for the back of the clutch pedal so it could be depressed completely. They've helped keep the carpet immaculate, and they're easy as pie to powerwash clean.

I bought Jeeves when he had only 66,000km, and in two years and a couple of weeks I've bumped that up to 104,500km. I drive the **** out of my car, and I love it to bits. Soon, I'll be doing an RR-Racing catch can, and cleaning the back of my intake valves. I will try and document the process, and make sure I post about it on CL.

Jeeves sitting pretty in January 2017.

First Lexus so far I like everything about it. I’ve always been a truck guy but this is more fun to drive. Spring can’t come fast enough to start making it look different.
These are the pics from the dealer that sold me on it.

Default New (to me) IS250

Just bought my first Lexus. 2008 IS250, 124,000 miles. Runs great! Bone stock, so I'm going to add a few things. K&N filters (air and in cabin), synthetic oil. I would love to get the two parts needed for the XM radio, but not sure I can find them since no longer available.
Anyway, just wanted to say hello!
