Default Looks like it's my turn to post here :)

1. IS350
2. RWD
3. Smokey Granite Mica
4. 18s (?) OEM
5. No spoiler, unfortunately
6. Black
7. Purchased on 5/22/17. First time Lexus owner coming from a 2011 Hyundai Sonata that I still own. I've always lurked the forums because I never owned a Lexus before and was interested in reading about the ownership experience thay everyone here has had. After hearing about and attending the F Only meet in Escondido, the first car meet I ever attended, I decided to try out doing photography and take pictures of the cars I saw. Knowing my pictures from that meet weren't good at all, I posted them here where I did not expect everyone complimented my pictures or even get featured in an article on the CL homepage. Because of this, I decided to take on photography as a regular hobby and I decided I wanted to be a part of the club so, I decided to go and try to purchase an IS-F but, after discovering that I couldn't afford it at this time, I went with the IS350 and here I am!
8. I don't have much pictures of the car but, here's what I got...

9. San Diego, CA
10. Instagram: WhateverAyeBird (there isn't really any pictures of my car there as of now but, I do post all of my car pictures there.)

would like to get together with the other Lexus owners. I recently bought a IS 350 and I love it. Anyone from not Austin? Do y'all meet up or do y'all just communicate through forums? Let me know. I think cars and coffee is tomorrow. Who is going if it doesn't rain?

Talking

First off, please pardon my ignorance if this is a double post. Anyhow, greetings from Jakarta, Indonesia. I know my car is not exactly a 2is but rather a cousin of the 2is, they both shares the same parts (most of them anyway), chassis platforms, etc, so I hope we can learn from each other
1. 2nd gen Toyota Mark X GRX130 S-Package
2. RWD
3. Black (Toyota paint code 202)
4. 19x9.5/10.5 et+25/32 (rolled rear fender lips)
5. S-Package OEM spoiler
6. Red Recaro SR7F, the rest retain the OEM black cloth
7. Previously was a Harrier 240, hence my user name , a reliable suv but needed to go back to 4-door sedan scene
Mods are listed in the signature
Future plan: Supercharger

Kind of a re-introduction as I signed up a few years ago. I've already asked this question in the wheels section but asking it here again since I need an answer rather quickly. Thanks.

Question: The wheels on my sons 06 IS250 AWD are in really bad shape. He's looking for some inexpensive wheels. He's found a set but we're not sure they'll work. The wheels on his are 8" W 17" Diameter. The set he found are Maxxim but I think they're only 7" W. Just wondering if that is too narrow to work with the normal size tire 225/45/17. Thanks.

Looks good, but what year is it? Five speeds are rare, and so is the factory ground effects package. Cool
Also looks like the dealership cheapened out and put tiny rear tires on. Should be staggered from front to back.

Hey guys, I'm new to the forum though not new to Lexus. I worked at a Lexus dealership years ago, and have driven their vehicles ever since. I've spent the last fifteen years in professional motorsports, and currently keep a team of Ferrari 458 challenge cars running on track, but in my down time I've been building a little different 2IS to go racing in. The car will compete in World Racing League endurance racing events, which are races spanning from 8 to 24 hours, which takes a team of 3 drivers and a small crew. The car is currently being built, with plans to begin on-track testing in September and race it's debut at Circuit of the Americas in December. For now, a few small teaser photos until the car is complete.

1. IS430 - Started as a 250, but why not UZ swap it?
2. RWD - though it actually was an AWD car before.
3. Graphite / Black / Neon orange
4. 17s
5. What kind of question is this? Wing, of course.
6. Smoke Grey with some carbon.
7. The car is being built for World Racing League GP1 competition. Drivetrain is a UZ swap with CD009 transmission. Follow the team and the build at

Default Newb w/350 F-Sport

2013, IS-350, F-Sport, 6spd Auto, RWD on OEM 18's... 225/255 stagger.
Ultrasonic Blue Mica, Nav, camera, F-Sport badging, seats, front spliter, rear lip spoiler, black leather trim, suspension bits and all that.

It's nice to be back in RWD with a bit of response to it. And for the record I'm returning to Toyota after good run with a 2006 Mazda 6S. Which I will say is fun driving car but underpowered and fwd.

First on the too do list is to yank the bumper and replace the rightside HID ballast as it turns off intermittently. Sadly just out of warranty and they have washed their hands of her.

Before she hits 60k I'll do the plugs and dump the tranny fluid. As its still under drivetrain warranty I may use toyo TWS but would rather swap to synthetic.
FWIW If you start it after dumping the pans contents, you get about 1.5qts from the T/C. So if you get 3 to 4.5 qts out in the first purge before adding fresh there is less dilution. However, you must refill in two stages starting engine after adding ~2.5qts...

Anyone dump the rear diff at 60k and find anything nasty? I see the PM interval for the IFS is 60K on the rear diff. Less torque here, but why no maintenance interval until 120K?

PS - 3rd owner on the IS and happy so far. Well except the lighting issue. -> computer sub-assy, H #81107-53501

Just got it back from the ex-wife. She was "tired of it".
Love it since the day I bought it three years ago.
Looking to mod and make it have my personal touch! (any suggestions)
