Since you're a newer member with a low post-count, you need a member(s) to vouch for your trustworthiness (see rules excerpt below).... you can find the classified rules under the classified section...

4. High dollar sales. Members who have recently joined our forum or those members with less than 300 posts (regardless of join date) who post high dollar items for sale may have their threads closed or removed due to the increased risk to our members. High dollar items are generally those over $500 but may be set lower based on our classifieds moderator teams discretion. All members selling high dollar items should be prepared and proactive in offering references from other CL members who know them, on other forums, etc. This is referred to as a 'vouch', and the voucher must post directly and publicly in your for sale thread.

Moderators and members may ask for vouches to make sure someone who is known to our Club Lexus community knows the seller and/or has inspected the item being sold. Vouchers for high dollar sales are expected to personally know the member you're vouching for and will need to commit to be personally involved if there is any issue with the sale or product being sold. The member selling the item is reponsible for proactively contacting the vouching member and having them post in their thread or PM the moderator who closed their thread requesting a vouch. Don't wait to be asked, as your thread may be deleted.

Ok I understand . At any rate about 4 years ago a large group from this club came to the shop that built this Quicksilver RacEngines. The engine is still located there and anyone can call this buisness that has been around for 30+ years to confirm details or even pick it up there.Quicksilver RacEngines 4603 wedgewood Blvd ,Frederick MD 21703 301 698 9009.This is a great deal I have no use for it it needs to go no funny buisness just a great deal.

I am local (50 miles) and been looking at installing a turbo. Is the engine in a shop that can install a turbo / intercooler, with the motor in car. Do they do other performance Mods.

The engine is at Quicksilver in Frederick MD. I can take it over to Peter Farrel Super Cars who is also in Frederick .They can do the turbo kit no problem.

All I know about the trans is it has low miles on it. It has not been in a car for 4 years. The guy who had this built brought it up here with the trans . Then ran out of money so I never did any work to the trans just the motor .Feel free to call

i was thinking the same thing. i would love to have a built motor for my gs430 as we share the same engine or to turn around and SC or TC my motor but a built spare would be more convenient. although i am cautious of someone i don't know building god knows what to a motor, especially from a new person on here with no warranty (and i know no motor is gonna have more than a start up warranty but we dont even get that). ALTHOUGH it is a good price. can u get compression of each cylinder.....with pics would be lovely

so no miles since rebuild OP, u said it hasnt been installed in 4 years is it drained still?

The engine has never run so no I cant do a comp test cold that would be pointless and Im not pulling the heads off a complete engine to take pics. The engine has never been installed the trans was out of Wenny Delrosareos car who is long time member here and still has some fluid in it. It looks clean and smells fine. Its a great deal and if know one buys it I will put in a lemons race car I guess.
