Default Rear Windows

My top had to be manually reset and the rear windows didn't come back up. Chances are I'll never use the top anymore and just enjoy her as a coupe. It's what it is. Can someone tell me how I can bring them up?

4litre, maybe I misunderstood your question, but if you are just trying to close the rear quarter windows, here is the procedure:

Turn the ignition switch on

I must have hit the wrong button and did a partial post. To start over,

4litre, maybe I misunderstood your question, but if you are just trying to close the rear quarter windows, here is the procedure according to my repair manual:

1. Turn the ignition switch ON
2. Turn the luggage opener main switch from ON to OFF (switch is in glove box)
3. Push the roof opener switch on the OPEN side twice slowly within 10 seconds after step 2.
4. Hold down the same swith on the CLOSE side, keep pressing within 10 seconds after step 3.

You need to run a scan for codes. Unfortunately, the codes for the top only present themselves while the top is in operation. But my guess is you have a bad switch for the top or the top ECU is somehow faulty. Does the top open and close? Anything?

It worked when it opened...that was it. Had to be closed manually and the rear windows didn't roll back up. The switch never blinked or anything even when it opened the roof. I'm just going to wire the windows up with a relay and switch. I'll get a Techstream later.

You have the interuption in the closing sequences. For the top to open or close the rear window must roll up or down. The fact that your top opened and the rear window rolled down that tell us the motor is OK. So, most likely it’s the switches at fault. I don’t know if the relays will solve your problem. I’d get the TechStream and find out the causes and fix that. My two cent. Good luck.

Thanks and you're probably right about that! I'm looking into a tech stream.
