Default Rear Emblem Template?

Hi guys,

Just got my 04 SC430 but emblems were completely in the wrong location. I've looked everywhere for a template but couldn't find anything online.

Can anyone do me a favor and give me the measurements of the placement of their emblems?

1. Left edge to bottom left of L of LEXUS emblem
2. Bottom to bottom left of L of LEXUS emblem
3. Right edge to bottom of 0 of 430 emblem
4. Bottom to bottom right of 0 of 430 emblem

Or if anyone just has a printable template, that would be best

thanks everyone

Do a cardboard cut up, tape it in and lay it down, you are good to go!

This Forum has helped me too many times to count. I either search on the Forum or ask Google and this Forum is usually referenced. Many thanks. I refer to it often and really got to know my SC.

If I was to repaint my trunk, I would de-badge it, and not just to save money. I like to keep people guessing!

Why are you thinking of "re-badging"?

A late update, finally got it done! We had the rear bumper resprayed years ago and the placement of the rear emblems bothered me to so much. I polished the old emblem- location several times but it looks like there is still some ghosting.

Same family owned since new and still going strong at 189k miles!

Thank you all for your help

Could you please post a picture of your de-badged rear end? I'm curious to see how the SC looks sans badging. I wouldn't do it as long as the stock paint holds up, but if I were to get rear ended, or if someday need to re-paint the trunk lid for any reason, I'll be considering the option.
