Hello all SC430 owners,

I'm currently on the lookout for a tasteful exhaust system for my 2005 SC430. I'm coming back into the modification platform after a fairly long hiatus and was hoping to see if you guys can help me with my dilemma. I've been window shopping and exploring the CL marketplace but don't see a lot of options aside from magnaflow or full custom set ups. I've seen a few set ups/product info from the sc thread but those part are either discontinued or long gone. Any answer is welcome, more info the better, and pictures would also be a great help for some unique ideas i.e. dual exhaust/quad exhaust/touring/sport etc. etc. . Sorry if it sounds silly or redundant.

 

I just removed the third cat and everything back from there to the mufflers. Left the two down cats and the rear mufflers. It isnt to loud and it is just an easy job to add two straight pipes and the x pipe

 

your only options as of now is magnaflow bolt on, or custom. I would advise against just removing the resonators, as I had terrible drone when I did it. But it seems like I am the only one with that issue so YMMV.

I had an exhaust shop remove the 3rd cat and resonators. After getting tired of the drone I had the shop weld on 2 Vibrant bottle style resonators. It sounds good but it is super quiet.

^^ How is the Magnaflow vs 3 Cat and Res delete? I can't seem to find any reasonably priced bolt on exhausts, even the Magnaflow is over $1000. The biggest thing is I don't want drone and I am not looking to anything crazy loud.
