Question Oil dipstick gasket replacement?

Hello, has anybody replaced this gasket before? I was searching around and all I really found was for the LS430 and that it is an absolute nightmare to replace. Curious how bad it is to do on an SC430 and if it would be easier to replace during timing belt change and valve cover gasket replacements?

Thanks!

The valve cover gasket replacement procedure calls for pulling the dipstick, so that would be a good time to replace the o-ring down where it enters the pan. Not terribly difficult, only one bolt to remove then pull the tube out. Worst part for me was getting the dip stick tube fully into place (had to remove lower cover and find the hole it fits into. Then putting the retaining bolt back in blind as the exhaust manifold blocks the hole location (maybe a mirror would help, don't have one so not sure).

BTW, the valve cover gasket procedure also calls for pulling the trans dipstick (assuming you have one), But I didn't pull it. You just have to be careful not to snag the new gasket on the edge of the tranny dipstick.

1 more: the o-ring part number is: 96721-19010
