I read somewhere that the small sticker located on the AMP, next to the fan should start with "at least" the number "74". Anyone have some additional information on this? This sticker may relate to a model revision. I haven't pulled mine yet but would prefer one from a newer model year obviously. I think this applied to the AMP's in GS models etc. Thanks.

Where did you read that? Either way given the age I would assume the amplifier could fail at any time.

 

I saw it on a search in the forums while looking for info. Started checking on ebay for photo's but have only seen "74" and "76" on that sticker. Most either don't show the sticker or it's covered by a bracket and is unidentifiable.

's a couple of pictures of the ML amp that is under the upholstery in the trunk up against the backseat. It's the one with the Black Stripe. Also a close up picture of the model number. This is on a 2008 SC430.

Harman (Harman Kardon) 'bought' Mark Levinson years ago but still use the name. They own several other well known car audio brands too including JBL and Infinity.
