Default Question about interior color

Getting ready to purchase my dream car and had a question for those of you with a black interior. How is this on a sunny day with the top down?
Where does it fit in the range from “it doesn’t matter to unbearable”?

Thanks for your help

I have a black interior SC with tinted windows all around except the windshield. I don't drive her topless when outside temp above 90F. I don’t park her top down in the sun and always use CoverCraft sun shield.
I don’t have any problem.

Thanks, I’m looking at a one owner 08 with 58,000 miles. I’m thinking that I would never park it with the top down also if it gets too hot I can just put the top up and turn on the AC! My mechanic will be inspecting it tomorrow.

direct sun and high temps make any interior color feel hot; I've got black and it's no different top down than others I've had with light interiors. I never leave it parked top down for any length of time to protect the interior finishes; but a light interior or a black interior top down and parked are going to be hot period. get the color you like; in my opinion black gets bashed unfairly for heat. good luck!
