Default Cheap bucket seat cover

I hate to post this, but I'm facing costs to replace motor & transmission mounts.
Plus I am hearing a sound from the passenger-side front wheel bearing that I don't like and that may soon be an unplanned expense.

So, while my piggy bank is attempting to recuperate, some cracks on the front leather on the driver's seat back have decided they are kinda bored and would prefer to be a torn flap of leather.

Anyway - hoping someone has faced similar before - need a recommendation for cheap, but reasonably fitting, seat covers? They only need to last a few months until I can save $$ for getting replacement leather purchased and installed.

If you spelunk around here, https://www.lseat.com/ has been mentioned in a positive way. They are "reasonably" inexpensive, but the consensus is the leather is composite (kinda like meat that has been glued together) and probably not up to the quality of the original leather.

But I have nothing to base that upon other than innerweb gossip, and we all know how accurate that can be.

I've used lseat before, on a LX470. But I meant really cheap, and hoping someone had experience with something that still managed a reasonable fit.

I expect I will go with lseat in a couple of months. Hard to say exactly on the timeline, what with gift expenses this time of year. My own fault - 4 kids and of course they gave us a bunch of grandkids.

IMO, don’t waste your money on covers. Buy a set of factory take outs from a salvaged car. Look through marketplace or eBay for a “parts car”.

EDIT: As a temporary solution I have used mastaplasta leather patches. Search on Amazon.

The mastaplasta looks very promising. I think I'd rather live with that as a patch than obviously out of place cheap seat covers.

I ordered in tan, and hope it's somewhere near saddle in color. But since it only has to last me into the beginning of the new year, I can live with it.

I used this stuff on my '05 Pilot. It's the wrong color, but it works very well.

No, but thanks. My leather cracked in such a way that three cracks combined to create one torn flap of leather about 1-1/2" wide and 3" long.

I had already tried treatments from Leather Honey and Leatherique. I bought a kit to fill in the cracks and "repaint" the seats, but didn't get a chance to do the work before the cracks morphed into tears.

EDIT:
a) I got some of the MastaPlasta tape in and while it is not a color match, it does seem to be meeting my short-term needs.
b) I was recently told my car is not yet "ripe" for front wheel bearing replacement, and my wife suggested I should put the money into replacement seat covers. I was surprised by her suggestion given the holidays and gift giving coming up. But I quickly (before she could change her mind) put in an order with lseat.com. They were good for me when I did the seats on a LX470, hope they do as good for the SC430.
