Default Smooth coilovers, Not wanting increased NVH.

Exactly what the title states. I just purchased a 02 with 70k that floats more than it should and hits the bump stops coming down from speed bumps. I'd like to firm the ride up a little bit, maybe drop a little, without making my car sound like a gorilla shaking a can of spray paint.

I searched and went 10 pages into the forum with no luck, I'm not saying its not there, I just couldn't find it. Any advice is welcomed. The car is just for cruising on sunny days it will probably never see aggressive driving.

Thanks

I'll save you the trouble of digging through 3 pages of this, MeisterR coilovers are absolutely fantastic. They were designed for our car (the owner's (Jerrick ) wife owns a SC430), they improve both handling and ride comfort tremendously. Customer service is top notch, build quality is top notch. You'll find 100 threads on here talking about them. Definitely one of the best mods I did when mine had 110k on it.

Here's how I did the rear to access the adjustment *****:

Not sure why the lighting of the carpets are so drastically different in the 2 pics either, they look the same color in person too, lol.

Those settings were perfect, I still have it set to that and couldn't be happier.

Exactly what I was looking for. Thanks. Now I just need to find a set of these as they are out of stock.

try reaching out to Jerrick, he's super-helpful and maybe he can give you an idea of when they'll be back in stock. If it's not too long, I think it will be worth the wait. If it's going to be a while, there were some other recommendations for coilovers in that thread.

I second (or third) the MeisterR approach! They came back in stock in May 2021 when I grabbed a set. Worth pursuing.
