Default Brakes squeak in reverse

My 2005 Lexus brakes squeak loudly as I reverse out of the garage in the morning. They stop when I turn the wheels as I exit into the street, and I don't have the problem at any other time. The brakes were recently inspected by my dealer and the pads are in good shape. Any ideas out there?

I'm curious to know what the dealer did in that "inspection"?

did they remove the tires on all four corners?
did the remove the pads from the brackets?
did the remove the brake pad clips to see if the clip was not holding the pad in place?
did they check the pad to see if the backing was loose?
So many things that can cause the noise you are hearing, with a little more info we might be able to help.

Without seeing the car and brakes in person, I'm not sure anyone could give a definitive answer. That said, I will list the two things I have encountered.

1. Brakes pads tend to take "a set" and since presumably you do most braking going forward, the trailing edge of the pads has a different shape. This can cause an oscillation in the pad. The cure would be to do a sort of brake pad "break-in routine, only in reverse. If this fixes it all it took was some time and a few cents in gas. Usually though it will make the noise even after being driven a while.

2. If the pads were replaced and the tech did not use new springs/retainers and did not properly grease the contact points, light cold brake application can cause noise. The solution here would involve pulling the pads off and putting in new springs/retainers as well as lubing all contact points.

Have you ever backed into the driveway and encountered the noise when with light brake application and pulling out in the morning?

This problem is not uncommon when the rear pads get down to their last 25% of life. You can eliminate the noise by taking out the pads and lubing all the contact points, focusing on the pad-to-shim-to piston contact points. But if you are going to the trouble of removing old pads, you might as well replace with new. Go with OEM or Akebono Ultra-Premium.
