Hi all,
Wanted to share with you some light cosmetic mods I have done to my 2005 that I really love.
Replaced the ML unit with a Pioneer one. Replaced speakers, amp and sub. Extremely happy with the result, sound and car play.
Installed wind shield behind front seats. Huge improvement! no wind turbulences inside the cabin anymore! Less noisy, better air con with top down.
Installed some lights in the cabin. Doors stripes, also stripes in the two sides of the gear console, also in the legs and the best one' behind the main mirror throwing gentle light down on the gear shift area.
Last, replaced the rear poly carbonate plate between the two rear headrests and added two led lights in the sides of it.
All new cabin lights controlled by same app (colors and power).
I simply love driving in the evening ever since I did these mods. The cabin is so nice to be in, lights so gentle and pleasant. Completely different than the dark cabin it used to be be in the evenings.
