Default Nav Screen door will not close

Anyone have a idea of how to reset the Nav screen door it won’t tilt or close, is this a common problem or can it just be reset somehow? Also I can get my cup holder cover to open ?? And helpful information is appreciated.

Thanks!

If you push down on the right side of the cup holder door, it should open and automatically unfold the cup holder.

The NAV door may have a fuse that you can check, or the mechanism may have jammed or jumped the track.

I have had the car about a week, however when looking at pictures online at the dealership it was closed at one time.

you can manually open and close the door if the screen is tilted back.

are you mechanically inclined?
You will need to remove the nav screen unit and cup holder for inspection

When I got my car someone had spilled a soda and the cup holder was stuck down. I had to work it open and then clean up the syrup.

DO NOT TRY pouring water on it (like my sister did in her mini cooper), since there are electronics in that area.

Check the following fuses:
RADIO1 - fuse # 8 in engine compartment
PANEL - fuse #2 in driver’s side kick panel
DOME - fuse # 4 in passenger’s side kick panel
RADIO2 - fuse # 9 in the passenger’s side kick panel

if these fuses are ok, you have the motors problem. There is the thread that cover this issue. Just do a search for it.
