I realize this thread is old, but I've spent hours searching and trying to get Techstream to fully work. I had the older cable but bought the 2.0.4 firmware version. I did the "5 minute Techstream installation" and it worked before and still does, obviously without the live data feature using the old cable. I deleted and reinstalled the software to get it to recognize the 2.0.4 cable. Here's the thing, the live data works on my 11 ES but not my wife's 15 GX. It doesn't make sense. Do I need a newer version of Techstream above 12? If so, I can't find an ova version to run on my virtual Windows XP. I tried to search on converting a disc image file of the V18 software to an ova file to import, but that's way over my head.
