Just bought this car and can't find why the blinking blue lights come on and off from time to time on either side of the speedometer.

 

LOL. Did you look in the rear view mirror to see if there was a cop behind you? But seriously. What "blue" lights are you talking about? It may be someone's mod. Can you take a pic with your phone and upload it for us Please. Thanks.

I think he's referring to the signal indicators for the turn signal light in the speedometer.
This speedometer has all LED so if it's doing that randomly, maybe the emergency signal button is acting up ?

 

That's as good a guess as any right now. He'll be back. It's an 03 in TX. But I don't remember any blue lights right now accept the High Beam indicator maybe? Most of my normally operating indicators are green. So that's why I thought this might be someone's Mod.

It's radar detector/jammer someone previously installed. One light means front, the other means back. Check grille and license plate area for sensors installed
