So this is way out of my range... I was wondering if anyone can tell me what this thing is? It is a NEXCOM Telematic Automotive Computer.

What does it do and why would anyone need one?

That's really interesting. So this is the computer that controls Subway/light rail cars?

Probably cost more new than the $12.50 it sold for today.
