Why wouldn't anyone want to drive a car that chicks want to be in?
I agree the SC430 is not a car that most said...I need to go out and buy one tomorrow, that is why it is not in production now.
It does take some time for it to grow on you, it is stubby, heavy and under powered. But once you get one, you can enjoy it for many years with little maintenance and little worry that it will leave you stranded. I have a 2002 daily driver and it is going strong.
The only changes to my car have been coilovers to lower the stance and 19 inch wheels (not a fan of the original plates)
The car does need help so I have attached a few internet pictures that make me want to spend the 5K to 10K needed for the makeover.
It's shame to see so many car critics want to bash this Lexus. The design is so similar to a Audi TT and the Porsshe 356 from the fifties.
Before this car I owned a 1977 Mercedes 450 SL for 14 years. I took it to many car shows. Nobody cared for the looks either ,never seemed to get any respect.
The SL was a prestigious car in its day and was in my high exposure TV shows and movie's. They were definitely not a sports car ,and did not handle any different than a SC.
