Default 2005 sc430 key problem NEED HELP ASAP

If anyone could help me with it would be greatly appreciated. So recently I lost the chip that is in the key due to having a cracked shell/holder and how my car wont start up because of the immobilizer. I was wondering if there is any way to program a new chip or even bypass it because I would like to avoid going through the dealership and get taxed.

Do you have a spare key? You will need a Master key to program another key.

I would look hard for that Chip because your options are not very good.

It might be cheaper going to the dealer and having them program a new key for you.

If you REALLY hate dealers, you can buy a new Key, Immobilizer, Key Reader and a couple of other modules for about $250

What I recommend is finding someway to access Techstream and buying a one time supervisor code off ebay to program a NEW key that has the chip in it.

You can also try a mobile locksmith that specializes in cars. For $85 dollars they programmed a key, I bought off of ebay, when I did not have a master key. They could probably have cut me a key, but I did not need one. That is probably your fastest solution.

Nothing really to add here. I just remember that when I picked up my girl a year ago and only had the one key, I bit the cost and just went to the dealer. It was $337.56 for the key, cutting and programmed. Without the master key, I'm sure that it would have come in closer to $500. Lesson learned from this unfortunately individual, get that second key before you need it.

Just a thought. If the Locksmith has the proper equipment, have him delete ALL the old transponder info and then add the one new master key.
There is a limit to the number of keys and keeping the other lost keys in the system could lead to vehicle theft. Additionally, with one new master
key you will be able to buy a "cut to photo" replacement master key on EBay for <$60 and program it yourself. It's always nice to have a spare key...
