Default Std Rim Bent - Solutions?

Was told that one of my std rims is bent but the dealer wants > $500 for a new one and that's preposterous!

Anyone one know of a single rim for sale?

I might even be interested in trading my other 3 for 4 chromed ones if that's possible.

TIA

dingo,

You can send it to wheels america and get it fixed if it can be fixed. They can straighten it out if it's just bent in the bell part of the wheel. They said they can fix it in 24 hours. Check internet for locations around the country. I know there is one in Dallas. Otherwise, watch Ebay, there are OEM SC430 wheels on there all the time for sale. I think wheels america will repair for about $100-$125 not including shipping. My wheels were bent in the hub and were unrepairable, but I took them to a wheel repair place first to find that out. Just my two cents. Good Luck

Just get one off Ebay for $75. Do a search and I'm sure you'll find it...the seller has like 12 left or something.

Thx guys.

I've been on eBay and no one has just one for sale. Timing is bad I guess and I don't have a lot of time - with no spare my ability to wait is limited.

Check EBay completed items. About 3 or 4 weeks ago there was a guy in Ft Myers Fla selling rims. I don't think he sold them through his EBay listing and he might have more - his phone number was in the EBay listing.

Brian sent me one and it too was expired but the guy is from Oklahoma. Could that be the one?

No. I am sure the guy was from SW Fla, as I called him and spoke to him about the wheels. They were pulled from a new SC430 in exchange for custom wheels. He was pretty anxious to sell them (even offered to drop them off in Tampa for free), but I decided to stick with my scratched up wheels a little longer. I could be wrong re the timing - maybe it is more than 3 or 4 weeks old.
