ahh now I see what you're saying. Yeah, I did it on purpose so I didn't accidentally put something in the trunk and try to put the roof down. I figured I would keep the stock functionality even though I couldn't manage to keep the stock appearance. At least for now... I keep thinking about creative ways to pretty it up, I kind of really liked the trunk shade, lol.

 

I finally got around to cleaning up the cuts for the bar. it's not a work of art, but at least it looks finished now. I could have taken better pics, but I also did the grommets for the coilover dampers shown in the pic and tried to get both in there. Don't mind all the debris, I didn't cleanup before taking the pic after working on the liners.
