Default Paint Buffing?]

Has anyone buffed the Matador Red Mica, I took mine to a auto detailer to have it buffed what a waste of coin that was. I thinking I'm going to Buff the car myself. Is there anyone on the site that give me a heads up on what to buy and their experience with the paint.

Thanks Ed

Lots of good videos on YouTube. One things that I have noticed is often less is more in restoration. Pad type, cut of the polish, speed of the polisher. So many variables. Watch the guys fix black paint if you want to see a good work and technique.

1. I'm curious to understand what you did not like about the detail job?

2. I am familiar with that color on the NX, not difficult to maintain compared to the black sc430.

3. Once a year I clay, compound, polish and wax my cars using Meguiars products...I have tried many products in the past and just feel that the ones pictured are easy for the DIYer to use.
I have used them on Lexus, infiniti and land rover paints and have had tremendous success keeping them looking shiny even after harsh winters in the norther Virginia area.
I will encourage you to buy a buffer, I bought one for $25 and it works very well.
Hope this helps.

I have 2 cars MRM. Lexus IS-F and SC430. I've buffed them both.

I can tell you everything you need.

But first....please tell me why it was a "waste of coin"?

More details??

Which buffer do you use? I have a black car any tips?

BTW the Lime Rock Park Classic car weekend just finished. All the folks with amazing cars said that Dr. Colorchip is the way to go for scratches and chips.
