Thinking of buying a SC430, question about paint codes and facelift.

There was a girl on Facebook that had an 05 white pearl, it surprised me..... although I am now biased because I have one.... the white gold is definitely the prettiest of the two

The more important issue to remember when buying
a “ 3 stage pearl White “ SC is try not to go cheap and get
The lowest price white SC you can get your hands on.
when I bought my WGC , I actually paid about 2K
more because I wanted an SC that were not repainted
I bought my SC from a Ferrari dealer and the car was
retail about 2K more but all original panels
A pearl white Car “ will never match “ again if the car was
repainted either because of an accident or because of
a minor fender bender.
Make sure all the Vin stickers are on each fender panel
To ensure the panels are original.
Trust me on this , a pearl white car will never match agein
if it was ever repainted

Has anyone done anything like a 3M or ceramic protective coat?

Absolutely brilliant. I've seen them in person for years and it always turns my head. No offence to the SFP guys, but the WGC is IMO the best color on a car with a lot of really great color choices. This is why I'm so determined to get to the bottom of my mystery.

The other color you might want to consider is the indigo Pearl. This is the other SC I use to own. I also paid over retail for this one but sold it thinking I would want an SL. Then came back to the SC after I realized how much I miss the SC

That one was on my short list. WGC/SFP/Twilight Amethyst Pearl, and Indigo Ink had me mulling over colors and interiors for the last week. I don't think I've ever bought a car with so many colors I would love to own, I can see why you've owned more than one.

Just make sure you don’t go cheap on just getting
any SC. The SC’s I owned all were low mileage
(27K-45K) cars with perfect body and no repaint.
or you will regret it.
I actually ended up selling The Inidgo Pearl and
came out $1,500 up “after “ 1 year of ownership.
You can now get an SC for under 10K but they
are something I would not want but that is just me.
These cars are a joy to drive. I probably will never
sell my WGC even when I get an LC500 next year.

well I can clear this up for you guys. I just bought an 06 WGC. 2006 is the only 6spd year that color was available.

I have a WGC. It is an 03 though. If you look at my posts, you can peek at pics.
