Power steering stiff

See this line? Use your hand to follow it down to the power steering pump. Once you see the pump, you will see the little cylinder with the two ears. The lines connected to those ears are your vacuum lines. Use your hand to follow them up.
No matter what, you should replace them. If you order them before you take a look at your engine, you can use their preformed shape to figure out where they go.

Watch this video from Scotty Kilmer that will show you how to replace the valve. He will tell you what symptoms you will have if your valve is bad and how to do it if you need to

Thanks to everyone who responded...
i started to do it myself but ...
i have a mechanic that's going to change it for me
one last question...
does this power steering air control valve stick out of passenger side of the power steering pump or
out the bottom of the pump
thanks in advance

Or just open the hood and follow the vacuum lines to the ACV...you just answered your question.

is the problem all the time?
10mph and 70mph?
its easy to find out if the ACV is good or bad.
just disconnect the vacuum from the ACV and if the steering is harder, the ACV is good.
now reconnect and the steering should be easy again.
if not, replace the ACV.
you could have a bad pump or rack.
perhaps, really dirty fluid.
the alignment could be off.
it sounds like you are throwing money at the problem and hoping for a fix.
BTW, coming back here once a week is not the best way to obtain good help.

One last thing, the PS is much easier on my 2007 vs my 2002...I have never figured out why.
high speed or low speed, it doesn’t matter, the 2002 steering requires more effort.
the tires might have something to do with it.
the 2002 has the Pilot Sport A/S 3s
the 2007 has the OEM RFs...harder tire.

good, then the ACV may correct the problem...but it could still be the pump, I also know if the electrical connector is removed you won’t have much power steering.

Try using Seafoam Hydra Trans Tune, before taking everything apart. I had the same issue on our 07 CRV and fixed it by using trans tune, working fine ever since.

Do you have a Check engine Light on? Did u have your car scanned for codes?
The power steering pump isn't too hard to replace, but it can be pricey. It would be good to know if that is what you need, or if you can get by with fixing a cheaper part.
