Default I found a Freeloader today...

I noticed a freeloader when I pulled my recently acquired '06 out of the garage today. My SC had spent its winters in Sarasota Florida and the rest of the time in the Michigan area. Now she lives with me in Upstate NY.

My '06 getting a little sunshine today after the snow melted. My RX is photobombing the SC in the background. One last pic before I put the front license plate bracket on...

Can you see the freeloaders?

How would they have even got in there? I know they are not New Yorkers...

Bob

They are 17" 2012 IS250 OEM wheels. The previous owner had bent a wheel and bought the IS250 wheels at his local Lexus dealer along with 225/50R17 tires. I'm not sure whose idea it was to go with 17's (dealer or owner) but I like the look of them too.

There's one dragonfly and what looks like a tiny bee near it. I've never seen anything like that before...

I had the same bug problem, I had bigger ones tho called stink bugs, I purchase my sc from ohio, I Got the bugs out by removing the day running light bulb, I used these large wide straws from a restaurant that i took home. I connected 2 straws with clear tape to make it longer like a pipe & stuck it in the day time running run light hole right by them than I used my home vacuum Cleaner. I put the holes at the to the straw & turn on Vacuum to suck them out & it worked like a charm.

No info on that web site on the weight of the wheels.

Good idea - although I haven't calculated the sidewall height versus the stock 245/40/18s - to go with the 50 series tires. Which tires did you end up with?

The previous owner put on Michelin's Pilot HX MXM4's. He bought them at his local Lexus dealership when he bought the new wheels. They do not have great reviews so I'll be switching to something else when it's time for new tires. They seem fine though...nice smooth ride...they are quiet and seem to be quite "grippy" on dry roads. (I haven't been caught in a rain storm to test them that way).
